I dab my pulse points with a variety of modern and vintage fragrances. I enjoy searching for unique scents in well kept bottles at estate sales. I collect a variety of costume jewelry. Some of my favorites brands/styles are Giovanni Cerrito, Juliana, Damascene, Enamel Guilloche, and African American brooches ( which are sooo hard to find, or are either too expensive! I collect unique fabrics and incorporate them in my photography. I am at my most productive when I work with my hands. I collect shiny objects so to speak and I incorporate them within my art. These objects could be sea shells, rocks, gemstones, sea glass, broken jewelry or porcelain...anything that is unique or peculiar, I will eventually use it.
I’ve traveled to West Africa, Central America and Cuba to learn about various spiritual practices, religions and customs. I’m the great grand daughter of a mystic.
